Changing the Angle – Change the Line of Tension
CHANGING THE ANGLE | CHANGE THE LINE OF TENSION
Watch this set of front raises with plates. During the phase, my hands are at 9 and 3 (hands on a clock) this allows for a full range of motion where I can get my arms fully overhead. The goal then is to lower slowly. As I move to the next phase, the hands rotate to 10 and 2 placing a massive amount of focus on the anterior aspect of the deltoids. This is an incredible 1-2 combo for blowing out the shoulders after a heavy press primary set.
Here is the set:
1. Full Range Front Raises with Slow Eccentrics (Hands at 9 and 3), 10 reps
2. Close Grip Pump Reps (Hands at 10 and 2), 10 reps
