Will You Flinch?
It doesn’t matter how hard you train, there is always someone stronger than you.
It doesn’t matter how many books you read or classes you take, there is always someone smarter than you.
It doesn’t matter how much pain you can take, there is always someone tougher than you.
Period.
But what should you do?
Roll over?
Quit fighting?
Stop trying?
HELL NO!
You put your freaking head down, you take another step forward and you give EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO TRY AND….
Get better that 1% everyday.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start feeling empowered to change everything you hate about what is happening in your life right now.
Let me tell you something, NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE…
If you want something bad enough, you work hard to get it.
And when it gets hard, will you flinch?

I love the cold shower to make yourself tough! In WI it gets wicked cold at times. I will strip down to a t-shirt, sweat pants, boots and perform farmer carries, bag carries, sled pulls, and a few other brute force movements. Even performing tire pushes(snow makes it hard to flip because when you drive through with the hips it slides) so I use that as an exercise. My neighbors think I’m nuts but I am training. I also wait for my son’s bus in shorts/t-shirt(even in freezing weather). My neighbor asked why I do that. I replied “I’m training!” “For what you’re just standing there in the cold.” “My mind!””I have to block out the cold.” If I can conquer the cold then I am less likely to quit while training!
It is a mind game. Grab that bar and listen to your body to let it go. Stand in the cold and listen to your body say,”MOVE! It’s cold!”
