The Video That Changed My Life in an Instant
The Video That Changed My Life in an Instant
I’ve had to thank Zach Even-Esh many times over the years, and it seems I owe him one once again. On a side note, Zach is publishing a book soon and I couldn’t be prouder — it really is a testament to what hard work can do.
Zach posted a video on Facebook the other day that changed my life, and I know it will for you too. It is really cliche to say such a bold statement, but I am telling you the truth.
What really stuck out for me in this video was the sense of urgency. Urgency to change immediately, the things that I’ve been doing that were meaningless. The sense of urgency to never chase anything that wasn’t what was really important to me.
What is important to me?
Family
Friends
Changing the lives of others.
Making a difference.
The statements said in the video pounded in my head so loud I could barely breath.
“I thought about all of the experiences I wanted to have, but never did”
“I never again, want to postpone anything in life”
“Urgency and purpose has changed my life”
“I regret the time I wasted on the things that did not matter with people that matter”
“I no longer try to be right, I choose to be happy”
“I only wish for one thing, to see my kids grow up”
“The only goal I have in life is to be a great dad”
“I was given a gift to see into the future, come back, and live differently.”
