You Will Fail

You’ve probably never been told this before but…

It is ok to fail.

Did I just say that?

And I’m going to tell you something else.  The fear that you have inside that you’re going to fail, is a real emotion.

Make no mistake.

But with most things in life, it is the decisions that we make at certain critical times, when we’re at a crossroads, that make all of the difference.  The difference between achieving everything that you’ve ever wanted or achieving nothing at all.

Because the thing is, we all fail – but not all of us keep going.  And for those who are stopped dead in their tracks, this misstep or stumble keeps them from ever taking a chance again.  It prevents them from ever reaching beyond their comfortable life and trying to go for a dream that they had thought was long gone.  The fear is just too much for them.

Gone In an Instant

When you try something, and it doesn’t work, you have a choice.  And that choice is everything.  If you think it isn’t, then you don’t understand the importance of time.  Time is the most precious thing we have and we’re losing more of it every day.

I’ve heard that successful people ‘take action fast, and change their mind slowly.’  I agree with that sentiment.  When it is time to step up, you have a brief moment to make a decision, and then that moment is gone forever.

You have to make the decision to try again.

And when that doesn’t work out, you have to try again.

…and again.

…and again.

…and again.

And again until……..it does work out.  Until you reach your goal. Until you achieve what you’ve been trying for.

There is no other way.

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life.  And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan

Life is hard and I can confirm your fears, it will get harder.  But if you really want to overcome life’s obstacles, you have to fight.

“If you want to win the fight of your life, you can’t be afraid to fight.” – Eric Thomas

Fight or Flight

Yes, you will fail.  Yes, you will be afraid.  Yes, life will get harder.  That is why you have to be willing to try again.  To conquer your fears and overcome every obstacle.  Forget being a champion on the field, how about being a champion of your life?  To be true to yourself and have an unbeatable mind (SEALFit)?

What is your next challenge?  What has knocked you down?

Don’t get scared.  Get angry.  And face the fear that has crippled you.

Stand up to stand out.

Keep fighting.

Remember, you’re alive!

Rage,

Smitty

Just made a poster with the last words and put it right in front my bed.
Nice words to read in the bad days.

Wish RAGE for all of you, from Brasil.
